Burcu graduated from Koc University Faculty of Law in 2008 and started her career in a renowned law firm. In 2011 she joined to the law department of a Big Four international consultancy firm. After many years as a managing senior associate in corporate law she joined our office. She is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association.

Professional Experience

She is providing services mainly in corporate, commercial and contract law for local and international companies and investors with various areas of activity.

She is providing legal services on a day-to-day basis on drafting, revising and negotiating various contracts on commercial and corporate law, the law of obligations and employment law.

She gives legal advice to our many renowned and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures as well as many other issues of these clients, adressing their specific needs with a business-oriented approach.

  • •Represented one of the biggest German Banks in preparation and implementation of all types of project finance collaterals (2010).
  • •Represented buy side in the sale transactions of %100 (in tranches) shares of a company in the field of retail sports equipment (Closed in 2012).
  • •Represented one of the biggest companies in food and beverage industry located in Abu Dhabi for its investment in the beverage field in Turkey (Closed in 2012).
  • •Represented the buy side in the partial sale of one of the biggest companies in the field of production road and safety tools and infrastructure projects (Closed 2013)
  • •Actively participated in structuring the investment, potential sale and partnership of a company in the field of infrastructure, construction and energy located in İstanbul (2014 – not closed).
  • •Represented the buy side in the sale of %100 shares of a company in the field of document solutions in Turkey (Closed in 2015).
  • •Represented the sell side in the sale of %100 shares of a company in the field of pipe production (Closed in 2015).
  • •Actively participated in the restructuring of group companies of one of the well-known holding companies in Turkey (Closed in 2016).
